Hollywood Singer Selena Gomez is trying to step into the beauty business by launching her own make-up brand. Since her career started, Salena was concerned about the importance of embracing one's individuality, and she hopes to continue that message with the launch of her new make-up brand, Named Rare Beauty.

On Tuesday, Salena took to her social media account to share a video. In the shared video Salena announced about her upcoming project. In a video Gomez was seen trying different lipstick, eyeshadow and blush swatches, as well as using make-up sponges.

While sharing the post she wrote, "Guys, I’ve been working on this special project for two years and can officially say Rare Beauty is launching in @sephora stores in North America this summer! Follow @rarebeauty and become part of our beautiful community. Here’s a tiny sneak. There’s more to share AND I can’t wait."

Further in the video Gomez also said that, "Being rare is about being comfortable with yourself. I've stopped trying to be perfect. I just want to be me."

Rare Beauty will launch this summer, in North America. The brand's name is same as Gomez's recent album, Rare, and the title track, in which the lyrics proclaim, "Why don't you recognise I'm so rare?"

Last year in July, Salena filed for trademark of her name for cosmetics that included fragrances, bath items, skincare, hair care, soaps, moisturisers, cleansers, nail products, essential oils and other beauty products.
